These earrings are recommended for older children and adults. The backings are nice and sturdy wing nut backings. However, they are not the "safety" screw on backings that should be worn by babies. They would work for small children/babies for a special event or photos but are most likely a little bit long to be comfortable for long term wear.

These earrings can definitely be worn on a daily basis, but are not recommended for sleeping in.
